Earl Grey Infused Pancakes With Blueberry Compote, Caramelized Banana And Maple Dressing

ED: Today i made Earl Grey Pancakes! Sounds odd but seriously, it is quite wonderful! Shut your eyes and try to imagine now, a floral citrus scent of Earl Grey diffusing through your nose as you take a alligator bite of moist spongy goodness with sweet warm banana, cold blueberry compote with a kick of port and toffee nutty maple syrup and rich creamy cold butter melting in your mouth all at once! (*catches breath) The result is deliciousness. This recipe was actually submitted for wait for it- THE GREAT PANCAKE CHALLENGE hosted by Sarah’s Loft! Pancakes With Caramelized Bananas, Pistachio and Vanilla Ice Cream

ED: Yummy yummy yummy i got love in my tummy! AT LAST I’ve put an end to my pancake deprivation. Made pancakes for dinner! got this recipe from my best friend’s mom! Its really good. But instead of the usual maple i made my own syrup! Caramelized Bananas with rum taste divine. Its nectar for the Gods i tell ya. But sadly i over caramelize mine and i was a tad bitter. So be sure to watch the pan! xP

Ingredients

Pancake Batter

• 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
• 3 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 tbs Sugar
• 1 1/4 cup Milk
• 1 Egg
• 3 tbs melted butter

*Let mixture rise for 20 minutes

Caramelized Bananas

• 3 Bananas
• 3 tbs Sugar
• Pinch Of Salt
• 1 tbs Honey
• 1 tbs Rum
• 1 1/2 tbs

Condiments

• Pistachio (Pounded With Sugar)
• Vanilla Ice Cream
• Optional (Banana Slices, Strawberries)
